Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the English Center!
There are three ways to volunteer:
As a Tutor
As a Teaching Assistant
As an Office Assistant
Tutors
Tutors help individuals and small groups of students with assignments and lesson points. Tutors meet with students before or after the students’ classes. Normally, these hours are between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
Teaching Assistants
Teaching Assistants work under the guidance of the instructor and assist during classroom time. Teaching Assistants may be asked to work with individuals or small groups during the class time.
Requirements for Tutors and Teaching Assistants:
Age 18 or older
High school graduate
Great attitude
Very encouraging to students!
