The Career Readiness Program
The English Center’s Career Readiness Program (CRP) is for students who need to develop fluency in English as well as knowledge of and readiness for the American workplace. In addition to the core English language curriculum, students in CRP study technology applications, receive career training, and get help with their job search.
The Academic and Professional Program
The English Center’s Academic and Professional Program (APP) is for students who want to succeed in a U.S. college or university, or who want to improve their English skills to advance their careers or to enhance their lives. In addition to the core English language curriculum, students in APP may take our special-interest classes.
The Healthcare Careers Program
The English Center’s Healthcare Careers Program (HCP) is for internationally-trained healthcare professionals now living in the San Francisco Bay Area who want to re-enter the healthcare industry. One-on-one assistance and customized services are offered to help students navigate the path to professional licensing and employment. Counseling is supported with in-house training curriculum, state-of-the-art technology and assistance with alternative employment options. Our training curriculum includes licensure test preparation, Pronunciation for Medical Professionals, Healthcare Communication and Culture, and NCLEX-RN Review.

Academic and Professional Program
The Academic and Professional Program is certified by the US Department of Education with Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) Codes 23.0101 and 32.0109. The APP is for students who need instruction in English to be able to use the knowledge, training or skills they already have to be successful in their professions, or who need to prepare for college study in the U.S.
The English Center program has an on-time graduation rate of 86%.
