Am I Eligible?
Many English Center students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid in the form of Pell grants. You must be a permanent resident, citizen, refugee or asylee to be eligible to apply and low income in order to be awarded financial aid.
How Do I Apply?
For eligible students, English Center staff will help you complete the FAFSA application onsite or you can apply online for Federal Student Aid by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
What Is Covered?
For those who are awarded federal financial aid, the English Center supplements the award to provide students full tuition scholarships as follows:
Full tuition covered by Pell Grants and English Center Scholarships for those who are eligible and qualify
Application fee $50 ($25 is due when you apply)
Job search deposit $50 (returned after graduation when you submit employment verification information)
Books & materials each semester (good for both Sessions A & B; average book cost is $108, or ranging between $45 - $245)
Book rentals now have lowered the total out of pocket costs for most students by about 40%. We can make payment plans for those that need them. Contact us for help.
